Meet Sarah Stone, LCSW
A therapist who understands that being 25 is different from being 35, and that your twenties don't have to be something you just survive.
After 14 years of specializing in emerging adult therapy, I've learned that this decade isn't about having it all figured out. It's about developing the skills and self-understanding to navigate whatever comes next.
Why I Specialize in Young Adult Therapy
I remember sitting in my first social work job at 26, feeling like I was pretending to be a real adult. I had the degree, the professional clothes, and the apartment, but inside I was questioning everything. Was I in the right career? Was I behind compared to my peers? Why did nobody talk about how hard this transition actually is?
That experience led me to specialize in working with young adults. I wanted to create the kind of support I wish I'd had during my own twenties – someone who understood that this developmental stage has its own unique challenges and opportunities. I also know that ageism is real and its hard to compete with adults with more experience.
From transitioning out of high school, to surviving the grind of college and adjusting to life as a young adult there can be a lot of pressure with limited opportunities and it was a lot harder than expected to be. I remember being 23, tired and frustrated with starting my career. I contemplated if I chose the right degree and struggled as friends moved away after graduating leading to what I now know is called “a quarter life crisis”. When I sought help, I felt dismissed often hearing “these are your best days”.
That’s why I started Ryrah Health. To connect with individuals ages 18-30 and offer guidance and support. Sessions are laid back but aligned with a larger goal to leave you feeling better, an increased sense of purpose, and greater confidence. I hope you make the decision to invest in yourself by scheduling a consultation with Sarah.

Beyond the Office
When I'm not working, you'll find me running, watching baseball, or exploring my state's many quirky attractions. I believe in the importance of curiosity, humor, and finding joy in unexpected places.
These interests keep me grounded and remind me that life is meant to be lived, not just endured. I bring this same sense of curiosity and possibility to our therapeutic work together.
